Barbados Folk Artist Woolly Hewitt credits his “world-stature" to Simon Cowell who often holidays often in Barbados. In a bold move, he hijacked the Media and stole the limelight. He created a portrait of Simon and gave it to him in the presence of British reporters. the story was published in the British tabloids and soon went viral, putting him all over the internet and in magazines and the international media.
